VCCP Health was born of the belief that pharmaceutical communications could benefit from some of the thinking and skills used in a successful consumer agency. Our specialist team, with extensive experience in both prescription and OTC drugs, tap into the resources and experience of the wider agency, VCCP - winner of Campaign's Agency of the Year 2010. Now, just 3 years since launch, we work with some of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, developing communications that really shine brighter.

We develop fully integrated campaigns for Rx, disease awareness, OTC and medical devices, comprising advertising, sales support material, digital, internal communications, sales/exhibition material and direct marketing.

We work in close partnership with our sister healthcare companies in the Chime Group and can provide Medical Education, PR, KOL and advocacy programmes. We also offer some innovative research approaches, such as those offered by Naked Eye, a team of anthropologists and documentary film makers who conduct ethnographic research, living with and filming patients to really understand the implications of a disease.

We look to develop creative ideas which are based on a strong visual narrative; these tell a powerful story via a simple visual. We believe these are less restrictive than verbal claims and have the ability to cross multiple boundaries. All aspects of a campaign should be engaging, useful (particularly digital elements) and fully integrated. We have a belief that digital communications aimed at healthcare professionals should be just as engaging and useful as those produced for consumer brands.

Our activities include:

  • Launching the new global campaign for the GSK brand Seretide
  • Launching new print, TV and digital campaigns for a variety of Omega Pharma products, ranging from Wartner, Prevalin, Jungle Formula and Buttercup Syrup
  • Winning Best OTC Trade and Professional Advertising award for our work on Wartner in 2010
  • Acquiring new accounts from a range of clients - GSK, Lundbeck, O2 Health and Randox. The scope of work includes UK launches and various device advertising both to healthcare professionals and consumers
