The Sports Business offers a range of services dedicated to the successful creation and management of sports sponsorships using our core skills of strategy, activation, communications and event management. Our objective is to enhance our client’s business performance by engaging with their audience in a meaningful and memorable way through the medium of sport. Our recent achievements include:
- Planned and delivered communications programme and presentation of Clydesdale Bank Premier League trophy to Rangers FC, live on Sky, and creating another 'Helicopter Sunday' as the climax to the Scottish football season
- Design and launch of Team 2012 in September 2009 for the joint venture 'Team 2012' made up of LOCOG, the British Olympic Association, the British Paralympic Association and UK Sport
- Sponsorship search for Standard Life with the subsequent negotiation and activation of their sponsorship of British Basketball with the launch at Game on at the O2 in August 2009
- Won the Hollis Sponsorship Award for Most Effective Use of Sports Sponsorship on behalf of Carling for their first season as 'Old Firm' Sponsor
- Created and delivered the 1st Clydesdale Bank Premier League Awards at Kelvingrove Art Galleries, the first for an SPL sponsor
- Represented the City of Glasgow as hosts of the UEFA Champions League Final 2003 and UEFA Cup Final 2007
- Delivered 14 consecutive Scottish FA Cup Finals for Tennents and 11 consecutive Scottish League Cup Finals between Coca-Cola and CIS
