3V Transaction Services Ltd has appointed VCCP, VCCP digital and Teamspirit to launch its innovative pay-as-you-go VISA Voucher in the UK following a competitive pitch.
VCCP has been appointed for the press advertising campaign, VCCP digital for the online campaign and Teamspirit for the PR campaign. The media schedule focuses on consumer publications targeting the 16 to 24 age group, as well as non UK nationals working in the UK.

Peter Polster, who heads up the 3V account at Chime-owned VCCP, explains the thinking behind the creative route, which uses the strapline: ‘Now you don’t need a credit card to shop online’.

3V Vouchers go live in the UK market today, backed by a £2 million marketing campaign. The roll-out then extends to Germany, France, Spain and Holland in 2007. 3V has just raised €20 million in Series A funding from Atlas Venture and Benchmark Capital Europe to fund the expansion.
