VCCP strengthens international offering with £12m Qatar Financial Centre Authority account win, following 7 way pitch

VCCP has retained the £12m Qatar Financial Centre business following a statutory pitch against 7 other agencies.  The Agency pitched against the London offices of CHI, JWT, TBWA, O&M, Grey, Doremus and Dubai based agency The Tribe.

VCCP is tasked with creating a new integrated campaign to launch in the new year.  It is planned to run across TV, print and online globally. VCCP first won the QFC account in 2006 and has since created a number of integrated campaigns to support the brand, and its licensing of institutions wishing to trade in a rapidly growing and vibrant financial market, in Qatar. The pitch process was a statutory requirement for the QFC.

The Agency is looking to new and emerging markets for expansion and is excited by the potential for growth and the opportunities that are presenting themselves. Other international clients include O2 and AEG in Germany as well as Barwa in Qatar.

Jonathan Adler, Managing Partner behind VCCP’s international expansion commented:  “This is fantastic news for VCCP. The QFC is a really important client for us, prolific in the Middle East, and the win supports our strategic expansion in the territory, one of the most exciting places in the middle East for VCCP to do business.”
