Bell Pottinger Group has been engaged by Anagenesis Trees Corporation to assist with a variety of communication services, including stakeholder engagement, media relations and branding and corporate communications.
Bell Pottinger and Anagenesis will first embark upon a comprehensive planning and preparation phase, in order to lay the foundations for a successful communications campaign commencing in October 2009.
“Again and again, we have been let down by supposed ‘alternative’ energy solutions” says Antonis Antoniadis, Chairman and Co-founder of Anagenesis. “Anagenesis is different; it offers sustainable, credible and affordable energy to those who most need it. Nonetheless, we understand that reputation is earned and fragile; we look forward to working with Bell Pottinger to realise our full reputational and brand potential”.
Anagenesis is an emerging bio-energy company set to redefine the energy sector through both its innovative intellectual property assets and outward looking social agenda. Anagenesis has created ground breaking green energy solutions which will bridge the gap between huge global demand and the current absence of a credible sustainable supply.
Anagenesis possesses the tools with which to redress this balance and in so doing, spur a wave of commercially viable and environmentally friendly investment.
Among their unique assets, the patented Anagenesis Trifolia Tree is central. The Anagenesis Trifolia is the quintessential environmental tree. Each Trifolia tree, fully patented by Anagenesis, has three leaves per row as opposed to two, resulting in 50% more growth and CO2 cleaning effect. Often described as “the fastest growing tree in the world”, the Anagenesis Trifolia grows on average seven metres per year, re-grows from stump, is non invasive, non-toxic and has very high cellulose content, crucial for the production of bio-energy.
As well as their positive environmental impact, Anagenesis is also committed to a serious social agenda. Anagenesis is set to develop the first true green, biomass project in Tamil Nadu in India. This will not only ease widespread power outages in the province due to shortage of supply but will also contribute substantially to the local economy, with the creation of 2,500 jobs. Already in India, Anagenesis is becoming known as “Green Gold”.
“More and more we are witnessing the acute importance of global environmental issues” says Simon Jones, Bell Pottinger Director. “Bell Pottinger is delighted to be working alongside Anagenesis as they unveil their innovative approach to these crucial problems embedded in an ethos of Green Economics”.
Bell Pottinger looks forward to working with Anagenesis in what promises to be an exciting year for this emerging business and indeed the energy sector as a whole.
