British Music Experience Appoints BMT to Partnership Marketing Project

BMT has been appointed by The O2 to carry out a Partnership Marketing activity for The O2's new permanent music exhibition, The British Music Experience.

The British Music Experience was launched in early March at The Bubble within The O2 to celebrate British music from the past 60 years. This uniquely interactive exhibition allows visitors to experience music across the last 60 years, have a jam session in the Gibson interactive room, record vocals for a track and even dance the decades in the virtual dance studio.

BMT is seeking and implementing commercial partnership opportunities to increase awareness and drive ticket sales. Awareness is being raised through partner’s communication assets such as newsletters, website editorial and click throughs.

Larissa Mitchell, Account Manager at BMT states that ‘we have already had interest from brands that are either steeped in British heritage or have an intrinsic music link that feel the partnership is mutually beneficial. We will still be seeking partnership from further non-competing brands and will continue these approaches  throughout 2009.’
