BMT Business launches new identity for RES Scandinavia identity through website

The second tier of RES group branding and marketing has gone live with the launch of the RES Scandinavian Nordisk Vindkraft website www.nordiskvindkraft.se

As a continuation of the work that BMT Business did with the repositioning, rebranding and relaunch of global renewable energy business RES, they have now undertaken the task for the Scandinavian subsidiary. This involved the development of a new logo and a set of guidelines to fit within the RES global family.

Mark Joy, Managing Director at BMT Business said ‘As RES means travel in Scandinavian it was necessary to develop a new discrete identity. The core brand could therefore not be used so it was important that the new identity was unique whilst remaining linked to the RES global brand’

Working with the Nordisk Vindkraft management team, BMT developed the new identity ensuring that it incorporated the colour blue due to its long term association with both the business and Sweden as a whole. Mark Joy stated ‘The teams were pleased that the master identity worked well when translated to a different name. Whilst looking different it is absolutely part of the same family’

The new identity has recently been launched across the entire Scandinavian business beginning with the website.
