Capri-Sun, the foiled packed squeezable juice-drink, is for the first time made with only 100% natural juice. To celebrate Capri-Sun is launching a new 100% juice campaign mid-February, under the tagline 'Smile! It's 100% juice'. The flavourful £1m advertising campaign aimed towards mums, comprises of a ten second TV ad, print and online campaign, all by VCCP (Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest).
The Capri-Sun campaign will run for two months. On TV, the ad will air on terrestrial and Sky, in print Capri-Sun will feature heavily across a variety of women's glossies from Closer to OK!, whilst the online campaign will feature on sites such as MSN, handbag.com and i-village.
Steve Vranakis, Creative Director of VCCP says: "The advertising campaign perfectly captures the essence of the product, which is healthy, but also bursting with fun. The appeal of Carpi-Sun has long been its foil pack and now this is combined with a healthy 1 of your 5 a day message."
This new campaign seeks to position Capri-Sun 100% Juice in the market place as a healthy option juice drink that counts as one of the kids five fruit-and-veg-a-day targets suggested by the Food Standards Agency.
The new look Capri-Sun comes in orange or apple variety and is made from 100% pure juice with no added sugar or sweetener's. Retaining its odd familiar foil pack, the drink stays fresh and cool.
