Chime Communications Plc is pleased to announce it has been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard after taking action on climate change by measuring, managing and reducing its carbon emissions by almost 5% over the past two years.
Chime is the 400th company and first marcoms company to have achieved the Carbon Trust Standard in the UK.
The Carbon Trust Standard recognises organisations for real carbon reduction. Based on a rigorous, independent assessment, it certifies that organisations have measured, managed and reduced their carbon emissions across their own operations, and are committed to reducing them year on year.
Chime has already won three BITC Big Tick Awards in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and been listed on the FTSE4Good Index since 2008.
