Compass Group Appoints Good Relations

Good Relations has been appointed by Compass Group UK & Ireland, part of contract catering giant Compass Group, as the business integrates its food and facilities management offer for business.

Good Relations won a four-way pitch with the creative theme “Britain needs a workplace that works” and the account will see the agency lead on B2B and B2C campaigns covering eating at work and the working environment.

Chris King, Compass Group Head of Media, said: “We were impressed by the creativity and enthusiasm Good Relations showed throughout the pitch process, which combined with their knowledge of the food industry sealed it for us.”

The account is being led by Director Ian Barber who said: “Compass Group runs more restaurants in the UK than McDonald’s and serves up everything from Tex-Mex to Toad-in-the-Hole.  There is a real opportunity to position the business as experts in workplace eating and the working environment.”

Compass Group is the latest in a series of high profile business wins for Good Relations in the food industry including Kellogg’s and frozen food brand Aunt Bessie’s.
