A recent assessment of the key assurance providers in the UK by business research company Verdantix, confirmed that Corporate Citizenship has the biggest share of the FTSE 100 assurance market at 15%, and highlighted our leadership in stakeholder engagement work.
Already this year Corporate Citizenship has been appointed to carry out Assurance projects worth over £200k for high profile clients including International Finance Corporation (part of World Bank Group), Diageo, ANZ, Provident Financial, Barclays, Freshfields, R&SA, Aviva, SAB Miller & Centrica.
Andrew Wilson, Managing Director comments: “Our assurance team has an unrivalled breadth and depth of expertise in this marketplace. We are delighted to be working with such a wide variety of businesses based in the UK and around the globe and believe that our approach ensures that our clients get maximum value from their assurance process.”
Independent external assurance is increasingly expected of all good sustainable development and corporate responsibility reports. It tells readers that your report is meaningful, accurate and, most importantly, focused on the issues that matter to your business and your stakeholders. To get maximum return from your investment, a good assurance process will also help you to develop your strategy, by identifying gaps, expectations, potential risks and opportunities.
At Corporate Citizenship we do not believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach but do believe that standards matter and so base our work on the AA1000 Assurance Standard as the best platform for designing a robust and credible approach. We provide varying degrees of assurance of companies’ CSR and sustainability reports, as well as of particular corporate systems and functions, such as community relations and procurement. We also conduct assurance of community contributions based upon the application of the LBG methodology.
In addition to their assurance wins, Corporate Citizenship has also won a number of exciting projects in 2008 that include brand footprint mapping, reporting, stakeholder engagement, e-learning and environmental management.
