De Facto and Harvard jointly win InterSystems account

Members of the Bell Pottinger Group tasked to promote ‘Work with InterSystems. Not separate systems’

De Facto Communications and Harvard, both part of the Bell Pottinger Group, have secured a joint brief to provide PR support for InterSystems Corporation, a global software technology vendor operating in the data management, application development, integration and healthcare information system’s space.  The joint win, after a four-way pitch,  allows healthcare IT experts De Facto Communications to focus on InterSystems’ software offerings throughout the NHS and private medical outlets; with technology specialists Harvard covering the broader technology story as well as specific vertical target markets such as public sector, retail and logistics, telecommunications and financial services.

InterSystems, whose mantra is ‘Work with InterSystems. Not separate systems’, has tasked the team with raising the company’s profile as a creative technology partner in its prime market of health in the UK – including the company’s recent agreement to deliver integration for key areas of the high-profile government project to bring about electronic patient care records – the National Programme for IT (NPfIT).

De Facto and Harvard have already commenced activity on the account, and will be looking to raise the profile of InterSystems via proactive media relations and by compiling case studies illustrating how the company’s applications are benefitting end users in healthcare, the public sector and across various target industries.

Commenting on the appointment of De Facto and Harvard, Mike Fuller, director of marketing UK at InterSystems remarked: “Partnered together, De Facto and Harvard provide us with the PR support we need to reach all our target audiences.  For us it was important to work with an agency that could give us the breadth of reach across what we do but with the in-depth insight into the specific niche market areas in which we operate.  With their solid experience in the healthcare IT and broad IT sector, De Facto and Harvard are ideally placed to help us highlight the strengths of our technology in these most demanding of markets.”

De Facto co-founder and Director, Kevin Payne, and Harvard Director, Charlotte West will lead the account.
