De Facto to promote TranScrip’s new pharma resourcing model

Monday, 10 November 2008

TranScrip Partners, a new partnership of leading pharmaceutical medical, drug development project leadership and regulatory affairs experts, has appointed healthcare PR specialist De Facto Communications to publicise its new resourcing model. This is designed to enable pharmaceutical companies to flexibly source the senior level expertise they need to achieve success at all stages of their drug development programmes.

De Facto Communications has already commenced the launch campaign by securing interviews with a number of leading industry publications, including Pharmaceutical Executive Europe, Sp2, OutSourcingPharma.com, Pharma and European Pharmaceutical Contractor.

A central communications objective is to focus the attention of target audiences on the flexible nature of TranScrip Partners’ offering, especially service delivery structure, which differs markedly from traditional out and in-sourcing solutions. At the same time, De Facto is highlighting the range of individual partners’ expertise and the collaborative nature of the partnership, which covers pre-clinical research right through to non-clinical drug development; translational medicine, clinical development; peri-registration activities, life cycle management and related fields such as manufacturing; audit; commissioning non-clinical studies and drug development. To achieve this, De Facto Communications has devised an integrated PR and marketing communications campaign that includes corporate identity development and roll-out, website construction and media profiling.

Commenting on the appointment of De Facto, Paul Branthwaite, remarked: “With their in-depth experience of the pharmaceutical development sphere, De Facto was a natural choice to help us build our profile and differentiate our offering.”

De Facto co-founder and Director, Kevin Payne, will lead the account.
