De Facto appoints new Associate Director to further expand life science business

De Facto Communications, the Bell Pottinger consultancy, specialising in pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences has recruited Hilary Latham as Associate Director.
 
Hilary brings to De Facto an in depth knowledge of the life science and drug discovery markets as well as extensive experience in delivering creative marketing campaigns and both launching and managing products. This has been acquired over her twenty year career in sales, marketing and marketing communications within the life science industry.
 
A significant proportion of Hilary’s career was spent at GE Healthcare (formerly Amersham), in senior marketing roles followed by the Senior Product Manager role at The Automation Partnership.  Latterly, Hilary was Head of Marketing at Genetix Ltd., where she built the brand strategy and drove successful integrated marketing communications initiatives.
 
De Facto has also recently appointed Karen Slack as an account manager to specialise in life sciences and healthcare.  Karen joins De Facto from Hotwire, a technology PR agency. Karen will use the B2B experience gained at Hotwire to work across a number of key healthcare IT accounts.
