Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems, a leading provider of wheel and braking products and services to the aviation industry, has appointed Bell Pottinger North to manage a proactive communications programme.
Bell Pottinger North, part of Britain’s top ranking public relations group, will provide the Meggitt group company, Coventry’s largest employer, with strategic and tactical communications support including crisis management consultancy.
John Butters, director of Bell Pottinger North, reports to Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems’ PR manager, Alison Rowe.
“Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems has produced market-leading products into the civil and military aviation sectors for more than 100 years,” said Butters.
“We will be working to ensure these products, and the firm’s maintenance, repair and overhaul services, receive the appropriate recognition within the aerospace industry and that the company’s reputation is strengthened further within the West Midlands.”
Bell Pottinger has considerable experience of working within the aviation sector, with clients including air carriers Emirates, Royal Brunei and VLM as well as organisations such as Dubai Aerospace.
