Essentially Group, part of the sports marketing division of Chime Communications plc, is delighted to announce they will be hosting a gala dinner this summer to celebrate 2010/11 Ashes series and on the night raise funds for the charity of Andrew Flintoff – The AF Foundation. The AF Foundation is committed to raising funds to build, develop and improve child rehabilitation and physio units throughout the UK.
To be held on 1st July 2010 at Lawrence Hall in London, ‘The Ultimate Ashes’ will feature a preview of the 2010/11 Ashes and Fred will select his ultimate Ashes XI since 1981. The evening promises to be the cricket event of the summer and will feature Fred as the star of the evening alongside many other stars past and present.
Essentially have a proven track record in raising funds for charitable causes in conjunction with high profile sports stars. 2007 saw Essentially work with Brian Lara, 2008 with Matthew Hoggard and 2009 with Ricky Ponting and John Smit raising in excess of £500,000 for charity in the process.

• Manage the Magners League, on behalf of Celtic Rugby overseeing the commercial delivery between Celtic Rugby Clubs and sponsors. Managing and delivering the Play-Offs, Grand Final and the seasonal events programme including the Awards Dinner and Season Media Launch
• Development, management, sales and delivery of the British and Irish Lions 2009 commercial programme
• Producing and delivering the Ricky Ponting Ashes to Ashes event in London, July 2009. The event has widely been acknowledged as one of the most successful and entertaining of cricket events by those in attendance. The evening raised a healthy amount for The Ponting Foundation - a charity committed to making a difference in the fight against childhood cancer
• Developed a programme for the Test Match Grounds, which has generated £35m revenue since 2003
