Essentially has been appointed by First Nation Home to event manage all the dinner proceedings from concept to completion.
First Nation Home sees four celebrity teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales go head-to-head in March 2012 in the ultimate sporting challenge; a race covering over a 1,000 miles around the UK and Ireland, all in aid of Sport Relief 2012. See www.firstnationhome.com.
The teams will start simultaneously in their home cities of Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh and London as they run, row, cycle and sail their way clockwise around the UK and Ireland from the 10th to the 17th March. The public have been invited to take part in the biggest Sport Relief Challenge to date and run alongside their nation. The final six mile leg will take place on the 25th March and will ultimately determine who wins the challenge and is crowned the Frist Nation Home!
The results of the challenge will be announced at the First Nation Home Sport Relief Dinner taking place on Monday 26th March at The Hilton London Metropole.
The public has the chance to join the 40-strong celebrity teams including the likes of Josh Lewsey, Thom Evans, Gethin Jones, Craig Doyle as team captains as well as Joe Calzaghe, Scott Hastings, Dame Ellen MacArthur, Diarmuid Gavin and Kenny Logan.
Guests will enjoy a surprise celebrity comedian, Q&A session with the team captains and live music from soul and R&B singer Beverley Knight, in aid of raising money for sport relief.
