Leading Sport and Leisure Operator GLL Announces Grand Prix Sponsorship Deal managed by Fast Track

Following this weekend’s successful Aviva London Grand Prix, sport and leisure operator GLL has announced a new three-year sponsorship deal with UKA (United Kingdom Athletics) to support the annual Crystal Palace International event as managed by Fast Track.

The Aviva London Grand Prix is part of the newly established Diamond League, which includes 14 athletics meets worldwide.

The deal sees GLL become official bib sponsors at the two day event which attracts a capacity crowd each year along with TV audiences of 2 million in the UK alone. The charitable Social Enterprise have also committed their long term support to the London Disability Athletics Challenge, one of the world’s leading Paralympic events that also takes place at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. GLL currently manages the venue on behalf of the London Development Agency.

The deal, which was brokered by Fast Track, is part of GLL’s long-term commitment to support British athletes and elite sport in the run up to Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012.  The organisation also runs the GLL Sport Foundation, set up to provide annual support to 800 talented athletes.
