Fast Track Sailing Wins Liverpool Boat Show 2011 Activity

Liverpool Boat Show 2011 has brought in Fast Track Sailing, the sports and marine specialist agency, to work alongside Liverpool based PR agency Paver Smith (who will be looking after national and regional PR) supporting communications activities for the inaugural show running 29th April – 8th May at Liverpool’s historic Albert Dock.

Fast Track Sailing has been briefed to raise the profile on this innovative new show focussing on marine / waters sports media as well as sports including health and fitness related press.  Planning will follow an integrated approach across broadcast, print and online channels.

The marine specialists have a proven record not only in communications but also across event management, sports sponsorship, consultancy and commercial programmes.  Activity has spanned the world from grass root to international level.  The diverse team specialise in sustained coverage building techniques with an undisputed exceptional knowledge of the water sports world.

The agency’s extensive work with a range of clients across; venues, events, manufacturers, sponsors, distributors and race teams has built up a pool of established contacts which work to provide maximum value on all objectives.

A strong element of the awareness campaign will centre on differentiating this marine based Show from others in the UK highlighting the on and off water experiences available as well as educating visitors on access to cultural festival elements and synchronised regattas on the Show’s doorstep.

Fast Track Sailing’s aim will be to disperse co-ordinated messaging through consumer as well as business orientated press in order to boost ticket sales and spread the word on unique features and opportunities awaiting Show goers.

The Liverpool Boat Show 2011 takes place from 29th April to 8th May at the Albert Dock, Liverpool.

It is being delivered by Marine Industry Events Ltd in partnership with Liverpool City Council, the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), Liverpool Vision, British Waterways, Albert Dock Liverpool, The Mersey Partnership and the Liverpool Waterfront Partnership.

The show has secured funding from the European Social Fund and the support of key industry exhibitors. Some 400,000 people are expected to attend over 10 days.
