Tim Adams Wines has appointed Fast Track to manage all UK based public relations activities. The award winning Tim Adams Winery from stunning South Australia’s sun splashed Clare Valley is aiming to increase overall UK brand awareness across a number of different media platforms. Fast Track will be at the forefront of raising the brand’s awareness which is already available through Tesco and managing all contact with national, regional, lifestyle and specialist media as well as exploring sponsorship opportunities within the UK market place.
Tim Adams Wines have won 9 prestigious international trophies over the last 4 years for both overall quality and value, including winning entries in the ‘International Wine Challenge’ which annually attracts over 10,000 entries. Owners Tim Adams and his wife Pam Goldsack focus their attention on making wines exclusively from Clare Valley grapes selected for their authentic and regional characteristics. The wines produced can be enjoyed in their youth for vibrant and fresh flavours, or be cellared for 15 years to mature, depending on each wine.
The award winning wines including: The 2005 Aberfeldy Shiraz, 2005 Shiraz, 2008 Riesling, 2008 Semillion and 2006 The Fergus are all stocked in the UK through Tesco and available both in-store and on-line. The UK range covers a cross section in value, starting at £8 per bottle up to £24, bringing uplifting Australian flavours to a large audience.
Tim Adams began his work in the wine industry back in 1975 under the training of Mick Knappstein at the Stanley Wine Company; Mick was the man who inspired Tim to make the science of wine his long term career. Tim attained a Bachelor of Applied Wine Science achieving Winemaker status by 1982. Tim Adams Wines was formed in 1997 by Tim and his wife Pam after a re-brand from the original ‘Adams and Wray’ label. In the first vintage of 1985, just 10 tonnes of grapes were vinified and now for 2010 the Tim Adams Winery is gearing up to crush a total of over 1,000 tonnes.
Tim Adams, ‘the winery has continued to grow year on year along with our product range and UK presence, we feel that Tim Adams Wines is now of a size to require management of public relations activities as well as exploration of UK sponsorship opportunities through Fast Track.’
Both Fast Track Sailing and Stuart Higgins Communications will be working jointly on the new PR account.
