The Research & Engagement Division of Chime plc today announced another senior appointment. Gill Rumbold (Née Solly), formerly Board Director and Deputy MD of Pegram Walters (UK), Global CU Director at Quest International and currently Head of Global CMR and Marketing for Research & Technology at Givaudan, will be joining the business in July as a Research Director.
In her new role, Rumbold will head up the Research and Analysis team at Facts International and will lead the cross-divisional Advertising, Brand and New Product Development function, bringing expertise from her extensive commercial and sector knowledge to help deliver high quality insights and ROI to clients.

This hire comes shortly after another high-profile appointment at the Research & Engagement Division of Chime, that of Sinéad Jefferies. Jefferies, who was previously Head of Business Intelligence at Royal Mail, will lead Opinion Leader’s research and insight business when she joins in the early summer.
In addition to these two senior appointments, Beale also commented that the Division is close to poaching another senior industry figure to join the fast expanding team. He also commented that another announcement is expected in the next few days about the appointment of a Group Operations Director.
Rumbold is an accomplished qualitative and quantitative researcher with a proven track record in client relationship management and team leadership. At Givaudan, the world's largest company in the flavour and fragrance industry, Rumbold set up the CMR & Marketing Department within the Research & Technology (R&T) Division with the aim to make insight more consumer relevant. Before this, Rumbold worked as Global CU Director at Quest International where she was responsible for developing and managing insight initiatives to build market and consumer understanding, helping to deliver profitable growth for the business.
Prior to this, she was Director at Ipsos ASI and was Deputy Managing Director at Pegram Walters, now part of Synovate.
