Good Relations to support Improvement Foundation outreach

Monday, 08 December 2008

Good Relations has been appointed by the Improvement Foundation, the body that helps improve public service delivery, to support ongoing reputation development and political outreach.

The Improvement Foundation was formed in 2000 to help frontline healthcare public service providers to improve and redesign the services they provide to their patients and the public using improvement methodology and techniques that originally came from non-healthcare industry.

Its work has covered nearly 35m people in the UK with estimated savings to the NHS of £33m per year.

The programme will involve helping the Improvement Foundation to connect with key audiences in political, healthcare and policy circles.

Ruth Kennedy, Chief Executive of the Improvement Foundation said: “We were impressed with the strategic thinking shown by Good Relations and their understanding of the issues we faced, how to stand out in an already crowded field and how to get our messages to the people that matter.”

Teresa-Anne Dunleavy, CEO Good Relations, commented: “We’re delighted to be supporting an organisation that carries out such critical and innovative work within the UK healthcare arena. The Improvement Foundation is an important client within our reputation management offering and we’re extremely excited about the programme we developed for them.”
