Good Relations has been appointed by powerPerfector as its first ever communications partner. The PR consultancy won the contract after a three-way pitch against other top London agencies this summer. The brief includes profile raising and specific campaigning for powerPerfector in the growing, and increasingly more important, carbon reduction technology space. Next year the government’s Carbon Reduction Commitment will go live which will insist on carbon reduction for companies throughout the UK.
powerPerfector helps companies reduce their energy consumption by up to 20% using Voltage Optimisation as a fundamental technology that also improves power quality, generates cost savings, and minimises carbon emissions. As both concept and product, powerPerfector is a clean technology that delivers sustainability and security in the built environment. It has been adopted by numerous leading names including Tesco, Defra and the Tower of London and already delivered millions of pounds in savings.
“This is an amazing technology,” said Head of Consumer at Good Relations, Richard Moss, who will lead the account. “We know ourselves that the next big thing in carbon will be a fixed solution to achieve the essential carbon reduction targets and powerPerfector is perfect as well as unique in helping us all to get there.”
Angus Robertson, CEO of powerPerfector, added: “We are very excited about working with Good Relations to drive forward our communications and public profile. We have grown considerably in recent years and powerPerfected many building portfolios over the last 8 years. This is now a pivotal moment for the company and PR will be an essential element in getting us to the tipping point of widespread recognition.”
Good Relations is part of Chime plc, which became carbon neutral in 2007 and is a passionate advocate of environmental causes. Group Chief Executive Christopher Satterthwaite will also work on the account.
