Good Relations Consumer, part of the Bell Pottinger Group, has been appointed by Scholl to raise the profile of its retail offering including: chiropody service and launch of its new Sally B footwear range for Autumn/Winter 06/07.
Good Relations Consumer was selected following a pitch process and will be carrying out a PR programme to build upon the brand’s strong heritage, whilst developing its fashion credentials in order to reach a younger target audience. Without alienating Scholl’s existing core audience, the PR strategy also aims to present Scholl as the ultimate destination to get the best foot care treatment and advice.
Christine Morgan, Associate Director at Good Relations, who is heading up the account says, “We will be working with Scholl Retail to influence retail brand perception and reflect the dynamic changes that are taking place in-store. Our campaign aims to drive awareness of Scholl’s chiropody service as well as raising the profile of the new stylish Sally B range.”
Annette Spindler, Managing Director, Scholl Retail, says, “We see the opportunity to work with Good Relations as an excellent way to raise the profile of our stores and chiropody services. We were looking for an agency that really cared about the brand and who understood our unique retail proposition and were impressed with the team’s methodology and passion for working with us.”
The Good Relations team will report into Martin Kyran, Scholl Marketing Manager.
