Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) signs up for
Good Relations has been appointed by the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association, (ABIT) to raise the profile of country’s textile production and manufacturing capabilities, promoting the Strategic Program for the Brazilian Textile Chain (Programa Texbrasil), created in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (APEX-Brasil). The appointment follows a brief to build trade and consumer demand for Brazilian clothing brands and textile industries in order to increase the exports and further international trade.
The project starts with supporting ABIT’s presence at Pure, the
ABIT, an association founded in 1957, works to support the sustained development on the Brazilian textile and apparel industry, an industry which includes 30,000 companies and generates 1.65 million jobs from the production and manufacture of goods. Programa Texbrasil, managed by the Association, has amongst its goals, to support the organized insertion of the Brazilian textile chain products abroad.
