Friday, 26 February 2010

Good Relations, part of the Bell Pottinger Group, has been appointed by the Almac Group (a leading provider of integrated drug development solutions to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries) to provide PR communications support.

As Almac Group’s first ever international communications partner, the PR consultancy won the contract after a three-way pitch.  The initial brief includes crystallising core messages and targeted profile raising for Almac’s integrated services which extend from discovery to commercialisation of product. The agency will generate tailored news and features coverage in print, on-line and broadcast media across UK, pan European, US and international markets.

Good Relations account director, Tristan Jervis, will lead the campaign: “This is an exciting PR opportunity for us as Almac is a truly exceptional company with niche services supplied to international biotechnology and pharmaceutical markets and we relish playing an instrumental role in building the solid reputation that the group deserves.”

Alan Armstrong, CEO of the Almac Group, added: “We are delighted to have engaged Good Relations to build our international profile and drive forward and enhance industry awareness of our full, integrated suite of services. We have grown our offering considerably in recent years and now look forward to utilising Good Relations’s specialist life science and pharmaceuticals PR expertise to reinforce and foster the Almac Group’s reputation as a leading provider of world-class, integrated research, development and manufacturing services pivotal to the needs of the pharma and biotechnology sectors.”
