Harvard PR has been selected by mobile technology company, Valimo, to act as its retained PR agency in the UK. Harvard will provide a media and analyst relations campaign aimed at raising the profile of Valimo with its key target markets - mobile operators and financial organisations – and positioning the company as a leader in the mobile sector. Valimo has achieved widespread exposure in its native Finland but has not attempted any PR in the UK, until now.
Headquartered in Helsinki, Valimo is an innovative mobile technology company, providing mobile signatures and identity authentication technology which facilitates secure and effective financial transactions, online banking and other financial services using a mobile phone.
The company, founded by ex-Nokia executives, was shortlisted in February 2008 for the Mobile Innovation Global Award at the mobile industry’s flagship conference Mobile World Congress. Harvard will endeavour to build on this achievement and create further awareness of the organisation in the run-up to the 2009 Congress in Barcelona.
