Inside Track Group (ITG), the market-leading property investment group has appointed Bell Pottinger Group to undertake a major corporate repositioning campaign across its key political, financial and media audiences.
The ‘buy-to-let’ residential property investment industry has attracted recent criticism and ITG, by virtue of being the industry’s largest player, has also seen its practices questioned.
Following ITG’s calls for regulation of the industry and ITG’s drafting of a proposed Industry Code of Conduct, Bell Pottinger has been hired to help the company improve both its day-to-day communications and its long-term communications strategy.
ITG’s Vice Chairman, Brad Rosser, said:
‘We’ve been so busy expanding the business over the past couple of years that we’ve neglected our external communications. We have now sourced more than £1.4b of UK and international property and have created in excess of £138m in equity for our clients. We also now employ more than 250 staff. Therefore, it is critical that our key audiences truly understand what we do and the high professional standards that we maintain. Hiring a heavyweight team from Bell Pottinger will help us to effectively communicate this’.
Bell Pottinger Group’s Chairman, Kevin Murray, said:
‘This is a particularly gratifying win as it’s one of the first tangible results from our recent move towards multi-firm pitching. Although the team is led by Bell Pottinger Corporate & Financial, it includes Good Relations Political and two other Chime businesses, TTA and Teamspirit. We’re delighted that ITG recognised the strength of our integrated offer.’
