Jacobs, one of the world’s largest engineering and technical consulting firms, has appointed Bell Pottinger Public Affairs to support the firm’s public affairs activity in the UK. BPPA’s remit is to increase awareness of Jacobs’ substantial role and track record in delivering key UK infrastructure with government, parliament, local authorities and other audiences.
Bell Pottinger Public Affairs Managing Director, David Sowells, said:
“We are really excited about working with Jacobs. Their expertise spans energy and environment, defence, transport, local government, as well as education and health infrastructure – all areas in which BPPA has a strong track record itself. We are pleased to be working with Jacobs to ensure that the impressive part they are playing in delivering first class infrastructure for the UK is recognised by government and other stakeholders.”
UK projects that Jacobs has been involved in include Thameslink 2000, monitoring of the London congestion charging zone, nuclear decommissioning, and a wide range of public service outsourcing and PFI contracts.
