Charles Russell LLP, one of the top 50 legal practices in the UK, has appointed Fast Track as its sports PR agency. The agency will initially work to raise the profile of Charles Russell and its sports law services within the marine industry.
Charles Russell has offices throughout the UK and in Europe, with a recently opened branch in the Middle East. The practice already has close links to sailing – its sponsorship of Paralympic sailing aspirant Helena Lucas and the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy demonstrates its commitment to the development of the UK’s most successful Olympic medal sport.
Charles Russell’s Sports and Leisure Group acts for sponsors, professional sports clubs, governing bodies and associations, sporting individuals and broadcasters, as well as some of Europe’s leading sport and leisure retailers. They offer advice on regulatory/disciplinary matters, commercial contracts including sponsorship, merchandising and event management, reputation management, brand protection and image rights, and employment and pensions. Recent examples of their work include advising a major sports charity on the funding, organisation and hosting of a national sports event, and supporting an F1 racing team on a wide range of commercial issues.
