Leading HIV/AIDS patient group the European Coalition of Positive People appoints De Facto Medica

The European Coalition of Positive People (ECPP) has appointed De Facto Medica, part of the Bell Pottinger Group, as its communications partner.

ECPP is a London based international HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C patient
organisation working in Europe, Malawi, Mozambique and Uganda, promoting
patient involvement in the development of public policy, delivery and monitoring of
services.

As a leading Medical Education and Public Relations Consultancy, De Facto Medica will use its proven knowledge and expertise to develop an intergrated communications programme to support ECPP across Europe and Africa.

Commenting on the appointment of De Facto Medica, Colin Webb, Executive Director, ECPP said, “We were extremely impressed by De Facto’s track record and the teams’ indepth understanding of the issues affecting the HIV/AIDS community. It is re-assuring that Angus Litster, Director of De Facto Medica will personally oversee the account since he was previously Marcomms Director at ECPP and has direct experience of the work we do”.
