Opinion Leader appointed to new COI Market Research Framework

Thursday, 02 July 2009

Opinion Leader has been appointed to the new Central Office of Information (COI) Market Research Services Framework after an extensive tendering process.

The framework covers various research methods such as qualitative and quantitative (face-to-face, telephone, online), desk research and deliberative research – the latter a method of which Opinion leader has been a pioneer since staging the first ever Citizens’ Jury in the UK in 1994.

More recent developments include the development of digital engagement - working closely with sister agency Caucus on increasing online citizen participation.

Viki Cooke, Chair said about the appointment:”We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with COI and particularly proud that there are now five new deliberative labels.”

The framework commences today, 2nd July 2009.
