Another Senior Figure Joins Opinion Leader

Thursday, 02 December 2010

The Research & Engagement division of Chime Communications today announced the appointment of another senior industry figure to join their growing ranks. Neil Russell joins the team this week from Harris Interactive in the position of Research Director and will help to lead the continued expansion of Opinion Leader’s quantitative offer.

Neil is one of a dozen directors and senior industry figures that have flocked to join the newly restructured Opinion Leader under the direction of Sinéad Jefferies, Director. Other individuals to join the team in the last few months include ex-Toluna European Client Services Director, Mark Squires, ex-qualitative MD of Hall and Partners, Dominic Scott-Malden, and Sarah Horack from PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Neil brings with him a wealth of knowledge, most recently from working at Harris Interactive as head of the public sector division where he was responsible for a number of large client accounts, as well as the consolidation of a number of public sector research projects into a new team. Prior to this he worked at Millward Brown and TNS where his expertise spanned the public and commercial sector, running a number of significant national and international accounts. In his new role he will play a pivotal part in expanding the services available to Opinion Leader’s spread of public sector and commercial clients.

Crispin Beale, Chief Executive of The Research & Engagement Division, commented, “Having worked with Neil in the past I am delighted that he has taken the decision to join our team. Neil is a talented individual with a considerable breadth of strengths, particularly in his public sector expertise and knowledge. He will help us to continue to deliver excellence to our clients into 2011 and beyond”.

Neil commented on his appointment, “I’ve been talking to Crispin for some time about joining the Research & Engagement Division of Chime and the timing now could not be better. It’s great to be part of something so exciting and I look forward to contributing to the company’s increasing success”.
