Baby charity Bliss appoints SFW as their direct marketing agency

Bliss, the special care baby charity has appointed Stephens Francis Whitson as their first dedicated direct marketing agency.  Bliss has recently undergone a re-branding programme to highlight the work they do for all babies in the UK born too soon, too small or too sick and will work with SFW to raise the profile of their charity among NHS staff in all 228 neo-natal units in the UK, as well as embarking on a number of fundraising initiatives.  In their first work for the charity, SFW have developed a direct mail campaign focused around the idea of ‘help is at hand’ which aims to highlight the work that Bliss do and how this extends to helping health care professionals and neo-natal units.

Founded nearly 30 years ago, Bliss is dedicated to ensuring that babies survive and go on to have the best possible quality of life. They do this by providing practical and emotional support for families during an extremely difficult time, so they can give the best care to their babies. They also fund ground-breaking research, campaign for essential change within government and the NHS, as well as providing training and support for healthcare professionals.

Commenting on the appointment, Andy Cole, CEO of Bliss said “We have recently done a great deal of work on our brand and positioning to bring our public face up to date with the work we now do.
