VCCP launches it’s latest ad for comparethemeerkat.com featuring meerkat marionette theatre

The latest in VCCP’s series of ads for comparethemarket.com breaks this weekend continuing the hugely successful comparethemeerkat.com campaign featuring idiosyncratic Russian meerkat, Aleksandr Orlov.

The ad, which sees Aleksandr making use of his lavish marinonette theatre and a salami in order to tackle the ongoing confusion between his website and comparethemarket.com, will break on Sunday (July 5) on Channel 4, ITV1, Sky1 and Five having been released on comparethemeerkat.com on Friday.

Two new radio commercials will also roll-out nationally on Monday featuring Aleksandr answering his emails and providing listeners with a neat vocal exercise to help distinguish between comparethemeerkat and comparethemarket.

Aleksandr Orlov said “Despite many fans of previous advert, peoples still making mistake. New ad will let peoples know about my meerkat business, not other website, comparethemarket.com, which is for humans searching for cheap deals on their car insurance.”
