VCCP expands its digital offering

VCCP has further expanded its digital credentials through its first venture into digital media which is being headed up by Wayne Bickerton.

This new move complements its existing digital services in creative, planning, design & build, and search engine marketing.

For the last three years VCCP has been steadily growing its digital offering, most recently with the launch of VCCP Search in September when it became the first creative agency in the UK to move into this highly competitive sector which has previously been the preserve of independent specialist and full service digital media agencies.

VCCP Search has already secured four accounts, two from within VCCP and two independently. Charles Vallance, Founding Partner of VCCP says: "The communications arena is changing more rapidly now than at any time over the last 30 years. We need to integrate these changes into our offering and into the creative process so that our clients are able to take advantage of the new opportunities which exist.

Where once agencies could specialise in a field, be it creative, digital or media, there is now a requirement for a more fluid and apposite approach. Total understanding, appreciation and implementation of all marketing mediums are now essential as the playing fields of commerce and delivery of messages morph continually.

The hiring of Wayne Bickerton to spearhead the development is a clear sign of intent from VCCP. He was former Director of Diffiniti, an ISOBAR company and part of Aegis PLC, where he spent four years with the group and headed up some of the agency's key accounts including RAC (part of the Aviva account) and Coca-Cola.

Bickerton says: "The significance of digital is growing exponentially year on year and whilst some claim to be fully conversant in it, in reality, few are. Yet, VCCP is now able to create an effective, well researched and integrated digital marketing offering.
