VCCP launches new TV campaign for Jungle Formula

Monday, 14 June 2010

VCCP has created a new TV campaign for Omega Pharma, which breaks on 17th June. The 30” TV commercial, for Jungle Formula Insect repellent, is the first major campaign for the brand for several years.

The campaign aims to expand the appeal of Jungle Formula, the number one insect repellent in UK, to package holiday tourists and to highlight the superior protection which it provides. In the ad we see a number of holiday makers swatting mosquitoes. The footage is cut to resemble a dance, and is accompanied by the funk track ‘Jungle Boogie’ by Kool & The Gang. Jungle Formula is presented as the solution to avoid doing the jungle boogie. The ad was written by Bret O’Connor and Matt Macland, and shot by Dom Bridges from Mustard.
