As part of their ongoing relationship with Microsoft Advertising, VCCP have launched a community based website to support Microsoft’s presence at the festival from 21st –27th June 2009. The week of the International Advertising Festival sees Microsoft Advertising hosting a number of events to explore pushing creative boundaries in digital media.
Microsoft Advertising has been sponsoring the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival for the past 8 years. The purpose of the Cannes Lions website is to provide a hub for all Microsoft Advertising related activities – both for delegates attending Cannes wanting to be a part of the action or those not able to attend but still wanting to contribute. Information is available as it happens through up to the minute Twitter and Blog accounts, Flickr updates, streaming video, and all Programme details for Microsoft Advertising Seminars, Forums and Workshops. A Media section will launch once the festival begins that will contain on the ground interviews and festival results.
