On May 21st VCCP launches a major international campaign for the Qatar Financial Centre.
Qatar is embarking on a voyage of strong economic growth supported by its 900 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. It’s investing $130 billion in new infrastructure, education and research projects to create a modern, sustainable economy. The Qatar Financial Centre is helping facilitate this growth in tandem with companies all over the world, mainly involved in project finance, private and corporate banking and insurance.
VCCP has produced a campaign that shows the development of the country and invites financial institutions from all over the world to become involved.
The campaign begins with a 60 second launch commercial, which depicts the attention to detail being applied to every aspect of the $130 billion investment. It is followed by two 30 second cutdowns. The TV will run globally using major business channels like CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg and BBC World. This will be supported by press advertising which depicts individual aspects of the Qatar story and will run in the FT, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Asia Money, Euromoney and The Banker.
The campaign has also been adapted to run in online formats.
The creative team at VCCP were Bill Hartley and Giles Hepworth. Adrian Moat from RSA directed the commercial. Jerry Oke shot the photography for the press advertising.
Pure Media has planned and bought all the media and VCCP digital developed all the interactive activity.
The project is being worked on by a number of Chime companies, who have also produced a corporate video and brochure and are overseeing all PR activity.
