MARY THE COW STARS IN MÜLLER® CORNER® NEW £9 MILLION ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN BY VCCP

Monday, 24 May 2010

Müller Corner, Britain’s most popular yogurt brand*, is aiming to attract new consumers and shake up the yogurt category with a transformational £9 million re-launch programme that is being rolled out this summer.

Spearheading the activity is the product launch of a new premium Greek Style Yogurt Corner - a trio of low fat yogurts all from natural ingredients and the addition of two new Fruit Corner variants aimed at adults.

The ‘Thank you cows’ multi-media marketing campaign will air from 24th May and run until the end of the year. The new 60-second feature length commercial will be screened on TV, in cinemas and sequences from the ad will also appear in a series of digital escalator panels. Shots from the ad are also being featured on outdoor posters and in press ads, and there’s even a dedicated website www.thankyoucows.com being launched as an additional element to the advertising campaign.

The star of the new ‘Thank you cows’ Corner campaign is Mary – a cow which has always dreamed of being a horse. To say ‘thank you’ for all the natural dairy goodness cows give to Corner yogurts, Corner gives Mary the opportunity to realise her dream and let the ‘stallion’ within her run free as she gallops along a wide expanse of beach.

For the launch of the new Greek Style Yogurt Corner a 10 second end sequence is being developed for the TV ad, as well as new idents for the Müller Corner sponsorship of Channel 4’s ‘Deal or No Deal’ and there will be radio credits within Classic FM’s ‘Brighter Breakfast’ programme
