A Helping Hand from Aunt Bessie’s

Saturday, 03 October 2009

Aunt Bessie’s Ltd are to launch their new brand communications campaign having recently reviewed their strategic direction.  VCCP were appointed by Aunt Bessie’s in April this year to create the new brand campaign which will run across TV, press, online and radio.

The campaign has been developed initially for their core products, Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes by demonstrating the products’ versatility and core benefit - enabling mum to nurture and care for her family by delivering authentic, traditional family meals during the week.

VCCP has created two characters, Margaret and Mabel, two old ladies who have known each other for years and are, quite simply, the nosiest neighbours you have ever met. When they’re not cooking, cleaning and making chutney for the local WI events, they can be found keeping a close eye on the comings and goings of their whole street. They’re astonished how their new neighbour (a working mum of a young family) can create such wonderful traditional family meals in such short periods of time.

The first TV ad airs on Monday 5th October followed by a second TV ad a week later.
