comparethemarket.com today confirmed that it has completed its creative agency review. After a competitive pitch process, the price comparison site has decided to retain incumbent agency VCCP.
Appointed in March 2007, VCCP was responsible for the distinctive blue/green visual identity which has been used in the company’s advertising and Channel 4 sponsorship activity. Brand awareness more than doubled within 12 months.
The purpose of the review was to enable comparethemarket.com to examine its creative options in an increasingly competitive environment. The brand has an annual marketing budget of more than £20 million.
