VCCP launches Very.co.uk with a Christmas campaign fronted by Fearne Cotton & Holly Willoughby

Monday, 02 November 2009

VCCP has created a campaign to launch the new online department store Very.co.uk in time for Christmas. Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby front the campaign having both designed collections for the brand.

The TV advert broke on Sunday 1st November and will be supported by magazine adverts in fashion titles such as Grazia and Glamour, along with digital display on sites including Yahoo and MSN.

Filmed at Shepperton Studios, by award winning Director David Edwards, the advert will get the public in the festive spirit by showcasing the range of products available to buy this Christmas from Very.co.uk.

On shooting the advert, Holly said: “I really enjoyed filming the advert for Very.co.uk with Fearne, being back at an ice rink was entertaining as always! Luckily this time, we were lovely and warm in our beautiful coats, picking out things to buy this Christmas.”

Fearne Cotton said: “Designing my own fashion range this year with Very has been fantastic, it’s a great brand to work with as there is so much affordable fashion and you can buy everything from the comfort of your own home. Filming the advert today with Holly has been great fun, it’s going to be a beautiful Christmas TV advert for Very.co.uk.”

Head of Marketing for Very.co.uk, Sarah Bottomley said: “We are thrilled to be working with Holly and Fearne, their clothing ranges have been a fantastic addition to Very.co.uk along with the thousands of other products on offer this Christmas. The advert really captures the magic of the Christmas period and Holly and Fearne give it a fun festive appeal.”

Fleur Andrews, Account Director at VCCP, commented: “The TV advert is a winter wonderland on ice; with skaters in Very clothes gliding around Holly and Fearne to showcase all the wonderful things you can buy from the new website.”

Fearne and Holly’s ranges can be found along with a selection of other celebrity designers’ exclusively at Very.co.uk, the new online department store which launched on 5th July this year.  Other designers include Jasmine Guinness, Glam by Caprice, ENCHANTED By Ann Louise Roswald, ELEMENTS/Amanda Wakeley and Peaches (Geldof) for PPQ.
